Travel in Asia

Asia is both the largest and most populous continent on the planet. It holds 40 countries within its borders including China, India and Indonesia, 3 of the most populous contries in the world. 60% of people in the world are Asian.

Geographically, Asia stretches from the Arctic to the Equator and is home to many natural wonders, including the world’s highest mountain range, the Himalayas. Asia is home to all 14 peaks over 8,000m.

Most of the world’s major religions, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism have spread out of Asia. As well as the major religious prophets, Asia has given the world some of its greatest historical figures, Ghengis Khan, Confucious, Gandhi and Sun Tzu, and some of its most infamous in, Pol Pot and Chairman Mao.

Today Asia is a wonderful place to visit with massively diverse cultures across its lands, from technologically advances cities like Tokyo and Singapore to mystical mountainous regions like Nepal to the wide open grasslands of the Steppe which gave rise to the nomadic cultures of the Mongol horde.
