Welcome to this Belize travel guide. This is your jumping off point to my blog posts on Belize.
Belize is one of the few English-speaking countries in South America, thanks to its history as a British colony. Unlike many central American countries, Belize has more of a Caribbean vibe.
Belize Travel Guide – Belize! It’s got it all
Whether you’re a sun worshipper, an adrenalin junkie, a history buff, a scuba diver or a bird watcher, Belize has something for you!
Belize boasts over 600 Mayan sites, mostly set in dense jungle teeming with birds and wildlife. Archeologists have barely scratched the surface of the mysterious pyramids and temples. Visitors find an unspoiled experience different to the large sites like Chichen Itza.
Belize offers scuba divers world class dive sites including the spectacular 400 foot deep Great Blue Hole, and the 2nd largest barrier reef on the planet. Those not looking to go quite as deep can snorkel with sharks off Caye Caulker.
Take a look at one of central America’s hidden gems.
I hope you enjoy this Belize Travel Guide as much as I enjoyed exploring Belize to bring it to you!
